[CASCADE LOCKS, OR‒March 5, 2016] ‒ Urban Tellers® is part of the phenomenon that we’ve seen all around the country: real, true stories told on stage in front of a live audience. For more than ten years Portland Story Theater has been leading the way to create a unique fusion of wit and bare-bones emotion expressed on stage. Now we’re bringing it to Cascade Locks. These touring story shows bring the culture of our community to life but they are a world away from a strait-laced book reading. No notes. No memorization. Just the story, the teller, and you! The space is intimate and relaxed. This 2-hour show, Urban Tellers®, will take place on Saturday, March 5th, 2016 at 7:00pm in the Cascade Locks Marine Park Pavilion. Doors open at 6:30pm, with stories at 7pm. This program is sponsored by a generous grant from the Autzen Foundation and is free and open to the public.
